Here is a video of our supposed to be relaxing 2 night trip became major struggle. From broken coilover to efing wind that almost took my Overlandish base camp tent.
I am trying different approach in making videos and spent 15 hours on editing this since videos of this caliber are all new to me and I am not super experienced in editing and video making. Had to learn new editing software. Let me know what you think about video, video quality and what can I improve. I am personally not satisfied 100% with voice over volume sometimes and that was hard to nail down, not to be to loud or to quiet. Video is also good insight in overland setup on my 2024 Trailhunter since everything is shown throughout the video. From what tools and recovery gear I carry in my 128L Roam box, Decked system drawer, and setup of Overlandish tent with interior sleeping arrangements and also Vast water system. Thanks again guys I appreciate your feedback.

Did you not stake your tent?
No. I usually never do, but we also chose camp sites where is not windy. Here we didn't have a say, we tried to camp where Tacome broke. Also it was all send underneath, so I would need big rocks to tie down the tent.

You can get some cheap, effective sand/snow stakes on Amazon; I've backpacked in some pretty strong wind using those. There are also bags that work pretty well (you fill the bag with sand/snow/rocks). You could just put heavy things in your tent (like your tools/water), but that doesn't help keep the hubs from collapsing on that style of tent.

Anyway, sucks about the broken coil over, but glad y'all got it fixed.

Thnaks buddy. I personally never had any experience with setting up a camp on a sand. Here in North West we actually never have sand, this spot looks like it was some type of sand storage for some road project or something like that. I was caught so off guard with it. Couldn't stake my awning, I was finding some rocks but too small to make any difference in such a strong wind.. and that wind just came out of nowhere. If I wasn't close enough to grab my tent it would fly down to that deep ravine...

Very nice video! Thank you for posting! Beautiful country up there, stationed at Ft. Lewis for years we made several excursions up there.

I am so impressed with the amount of tools you carry on your overland trips. Nevermind the amount of cooking gear, fridge and watertank/shower - you're set up for multi-day back country adventures, and able to look after everybody else that is with you. I like that overlandish tent you have - what a cool setup. Creating a video after all of that - well, I think you nailed it! Taking all that time to do that is noteworthy. I've tried stitching videos and photos together, and haven't been as successful as you were with this video. I've subscribed to you channel and look forward to seeing more of you exploits here in BC (I'm in the Okanagan, so am familiar with the area you were in filming this video).

That's a lot of food for two guys. Let me know next time and I'll be there for dinner! 🤣

Great video. I think the audio levels are just fine. Certainly better than a lot of what's on YouTube.

I'm curious how the coilover broke. It didn't appear that you were doing anything remotely extreme.

Pretty cool video, too bad you had those inconveniences, but you made the best of it and it seem you were very prepare for the situation. BTW the food looked really good.

These videos aren't usually my thing but I was curious about how you guys made out with the coilover. Video ruled! Always need an emotional support burek with you when you're in the sticks. Very impressive rig for backcountry stuff. Impressed by how compact and neat your truck is despite the fact you've got 5,000 pounds of unruly cargo with you.

Video is top notch. Since you asked for feedback, next time slow down your pans. The panning you did around Whistler Village to give us a sense of the place was too quick.

Where’s the serbian bakery? On Sea to Sky, or somewhere in town?
