I just bought my 4G about a month ago and even though I am happy with it as it sits and rides, very rarely have I kept anything stock for long. Even the first week, prior to delivery, I had new wheels and tires (Motegi Trailite with 285/70R17 Rodge Grapplers), full audio (4 Memphis MJP6 6.5”, 4ch Memphis, Memphis 1800..1 and 2 Mojo Mini 8” subs), new A-pillar mounts for my KC Flex Era 4, new wiring for my 10x Flex Era 1 rock lights, etc… schedules for the tint and pick up the BakFlip MX4 tonneau. Now I am just trying to consider which to run: a nice leveling kit or go with a suspension lift (any suggestions? I used to run a 5” lift on my JLR with 37s but it wasn’t practical, even for a Jeep lol).

Now here’s the issue: I am mechanically and electrically proficient and have been pondering this for a few days. My biggest gripe is how people are so codependent on technology and lack the basic common sense of knowing when to accelerate, brake, slow the hell down or actually remember drivers Ed. I have pushed to continually use the completely PCS disable but it just reactivates the moment I turn the 4G off/on.

I know it seems minor to many but as a former organ transplant recipient and 3x cancer survivor at only 43yo, even on the lowest setting, the unintentional braking and corrections by my truck tend to make me nauseated and never noticed it until the contract was signed and I was driving to work then the university (to teach). In the end, I have researched how to locate and potential ally disengage the fuse for the Safety Sense. Then I came across the idea of covering or unplugging just the transmitter behind the grille emblem and/or camera next to the rear view mirror… then I would have to deal with the CEL/MILs but even then, all that work is better than having to just disengage every damn time but that’s time consuming.

any ideas? Solutions? Etc? (Of course by me mentioning this problematic feature, many of you reading this will now notice this pain in the ass quality in the 4G. ?)
