I've been looking to pick up a 12V portable compressor to store in the center pocket behind the rear seat back in my TRDOR non-hybrid. I'd obviously like to have something that will fill tires quickly. The direction I'm leaning is the Jaco Trail Pro, but I'm concerned about the size.

Space seems pretty limited and I'd like to avoid stripping out the plastics. Has anyone found one that fits?

The JACO TrailPro is generally too bulky to fit behind the rear seat of a 4G Tacoma without modifying or removing plastics, as it measures roughly 9.5"-10" in length and around 6"-8" wide with its bulky casing.

For a quick-filling compressor that fits in that center pocket without stripping plastics, the VIAIR 88P or VIAIR 300P is a much better choice. The 88P is compact (measuring 9.8" Ă— 3.2" Ă— 5.6") and easily fits the space.

Thanks for the input, I just ordered a Viair 300p. After shopping around, the best price was Home Depot at $158 and free shipping.

I have a Vair that I've used numerous times, that thing gets pretty hot when airing up some tires. Id be afraid to put it inside the cab anywhere. Sounds like your just looking for storage but i did see a recent thread of someone mounting under the seat I think.
