I’m considering putting TRD Pro (Rave) grill and light bar on my TRD OR.. I do NOT have the Aux switches in my cab.
How involved/hard is it to do the wiring to make that happen and install switches?
I watched a great video of a guy installing that DID have the aux power switches already, but I’m not sure how my experience will differ to figure out if I actually want to do it or not…

thanks!

I installed Cali ditch lights and didn't use my aux switches. I chose their switch because I wanted it in the upper right switch blank spot, and it turns blue when the lights are on.

I used their wiring harness, which has a relay switch, and I think you'll need one too. Those are not hard to put together; I'm sure you can find a YouTube.

The easiest way to put auxiliary lights and switches in your rig is to put an up an auxiliary power distribution box in.
I put an oxbeam, eight switch pedal in my twenty four tacoma, and I am no mechanic. The directions were, easy to understand and the pictures. I think were even better..
Now I can control 8 different. Auxiliary items with either the remote control for the switch panel, it's installed in a truck.

Thanks…. I like the looks of that option too.
my hesitation though is the auxbeam circuit looks like it connects to positive/negative/acc battery…. Which for me is all the way under the back seat. I need to see if there’s a way to make those connections under hood somehow with my hybrid?

Yah, not sure about that. Mine is a non-hybrid model. I have a battery under the hood. I mounted my switch panel on top of the battery. Good luck 👍
