Awesome!!Got the tent installed. Went with a Naturnest Sirius 2 ABS. Was on sale for 1800 and was considerably less than the other one I was looking at. Have yet to use it but will be on an upcoming trip. It is a pretty tight squeeze trying to open the tonneau but I knew that going into it.
Also put some Weathertech sunshades in all the windows. The truck will spend most of its life parked outside in the California sun so I would like to keep the interior as nice as possible.
Was able to fit the Starlink on the side of the tent without any physical interference. I am not sure how it will perform being next to an object like that but I suppose ill find out! Not entirely happy with this setup as it pokes out the side of the bed. I will probably revisit this mounting in the future.

I think you will want the antenna higher than the tent. Even the dashboard could be better once you’re parked as long as you have constant power when you want to use Starlink. Roof would be best, or maybe you can put it inside your rooftop tent while you are in there, if there won’t be metal between the antenna and the sky (and again, if you can reach power). Since signal will go through a Pelican or similar plastic case, I’d anticipate it will go through your tent hard case.
Post pics of your setup once your tent is up… looks really fun!
