Retrofitting Limited OEM Power Running Boards on a TRD Off-road

Here are the 6 pins. When I try to ring them out I get nothing on any of them.

yeah there are 6 pins but do more than 3 of them have wires attached? diagram only shows wires on pins 3, 5, and 6.

There are 5 wires feeding the plug. here's the back of switch connector from OEM LTD. Two of them are dash illumination (solid white is ILL- and beige is ILL+).

Do you recall which of the three whites is the solid one?

Only one is solid white. The others are either a slightly different color (like gray or pink) or have a colored line on them. Outboard most connections are the ILL.
