Running wire from bed to inside cab. Best route?

Is there a pass through on the backside of the cab or the floorboard in the back to run a wire through to the inside of the cab or do I have to run under the truck to the engine bay and go through the firewall?

There’s a grommet under the carpet towards the rear under the drivers seat. In my Pro there’s already a loom of wires going through it.

I used the one on the driver's side near the rear seat for the black wire in the photo. Sounds like there's probably a couple of these grommets on the floor that could be used.

By default on nearly every truck on the market, there are 2 vents between the cab and bed… while it may seem strange to have these, the “science” behind it is quite obvious and useful. These vents regulate the pressure inside the cab so when you close your doors or with the factory sub, it will stop it from having it feel boxed in and still give it a solid sound. Basically it lets you have 2 pass through into the outside. You can find these behind the sound deadening above the plastic

That’s not the purpose of the vents.
Are you suggesting the wires be run through them?

I had a quick question, I wanted to route the wiring from my solar panels into the cab via this same grommet but on the passenger side. That side has a loom of wires going through it already. I wasn't sure if I had to make another slit or not.

Did you just make a small slit on the drivers side grommet, pass the wires through, then seal?

Pretty much, just a small slit using an exacto knife. Didn't really need to seal it because it's already snug going through the grommet.
