OEM Head Unit -> PAC LPHTY02 Harness -> PAC LPHEXT17 extension --> 4-ch amplifier --> PAC LPHEXT17 extension --> PAC LPHTY02 Harness
This gets the amplified signal back in to the stock wiring behind the head unit... case closed, no problems there.
I'm going to run a component set up front, so I have the TacoTunes 36" tweeter harness as well as their 36" front door harness, but I'm confused on how these work with the crossover.
The stock tweeter male plug will get disconnected and plugged in to the TacoTunes tweeter harness. The four leads from that harness will go where? The crossover only has a single +/- input, so why does the tweeter harness have two pairs? I was told I wouldn't have to run new speaker wire. but I'm not seeing a way to connect all this without additional wiring.
I don't currently have the truck in front of me to check these details, so I'm drowning in my thoughts.
Thanks!
