OEM Head Unit -> PAC LPHTY02 Harness -> PAC LPHEXT17 extension --> 4-ch amplifier --> PAC LPHEXT17 extension --> PAC LPHTY02 Harness

This gets the amplified signal back in to the stock wiring behind the head unit... case closed, no problems there.

I'm going to run a component set up front, so I have the TacoTunes 36" tweeter harness as well as their 36" front door harness, but I'm confused on how these work with the crossover.

The stock tweeter male plug will get disconnected and plugged in to the TacoTunes tweeter harness. The four leads from that harness will go where? The crossover only has a single +/- input, so why does the tweeter harness have two pairs? I was told I wouldn't have to run new speaker wire. but I'm not seeing a way to connect all this without additional wiring.

I don't currently have the truck in front of me to check these details, so I'm drowning in my thoughts. :)

Thanks!

The stock door woofer and dashboard speaker are wired in parallel, so in the stock configuration, 2 of the 4 wires coming out of the dashboard speaker harness go to the door woofer, and 2 go to the dashboard speaker.

I assume there are still 4 coming out of the TacoTunes harness just in case you are using speakers that use inline crossovers (so individual crossovers for mids and woofers). Since you plan on just using one passive crossover box, you can just twist the 4 outputs together (+ and + to make one + wire, and - and - to make one - wire) and wire that into your + and - inputs on your crossover.

Ah, ok. Weird that TacoTunes lists the 36" as required for components. Must just be for the length?

If I twist the leads back in to a single +/- pair going in to the crossovers, I have to make my own runs back from the crossover to the tweeters and door woofers?

I had it wrong. Red and black from the tweeter harness go to the inputs of the crossover. White and White/Black from the tweeter harness go to the woofer connections on the crossover. Tweeters get wired directly to the crossover.
