Signing Loan Documents Ahead of Time

My truck apparently entered "Freight" status today and they are expecting it to arrive between the Feb 29 and Mar 29. So now they are asking me to sign all the sales paperwork and loan docs as though I am receiving the vehicle already. Has anyone else ran into this?
