Cool.
Instead of buying the billet tow hooks. Might be cheaper to buy the right side hook and install it on the left side.
Definitely might do that. And I may just bite the bullet and buy the @NYTOP recovery hooks for the back. I love their stuff.

I just see the bolt pattern on the frame and wish I had the means (and knowledge) to make my own instead of buying them.

@thegrayham you could probably whip up some in a heartbeat. Still love your DIY rock sliders btw

Mine is a TRD Offroad so I have 2 hooks like the video.
Do you have an SR5 or sport? I think that's why you have the two different hooks.

Those look great painted, but is the tacoma rated for recovery using those points? I thought they were just transport tie down points.

In the OP picture the left side is a towing hook and the right side is a tie-down. If you have an OR you get 2 towing hooks.
As far as recovery rating, they aren't. I'm seeing 10,000 lb bandied about but nothing official. In looking at the hooks closely I think the weak point is going to be the frame stub where they are bolted on.
If you're doing mild recoveries, they should be plenty strong enough. If you expect to need to do kinetic recovery when stuck up to the bumpers in mud you should probably wait for the ARB recovery points that wrap around the frame and have additional bolts.
