Hi,thanks for reaching out Lexland!It's bright enough with projectio. It use a high-brightness light source with a maximum output of up to 300 lumens and a color temperature range of 4500K–6500K, delivering a clear and bright projection.

I just installed these this afternoon. Super easy and fit is perfect. The logo is bright and in sharp focus, I like the look. Does it provide the same amount of light the original did? I don't think so, however, the interior lights might make up for it. There is too much ambient light in my driveway to tell. We'll see how I feel after using them for a while but, as it stands now, I am very happy with the lights.

Out of curiosity, I went out in the country and checked the amount of light coming off the puddle lights. There is enough light to see the surrounding ground well enough to avoid any puddles or obstacles. However, I do not know how they compare to the OEM lights they replaced.

Does the base SR model have these door lights? Mine seem only red reflector lens, would it still have the wire harness in door for the upgrade install? Haven't tried yet.

Please make sure that your vehicle is equipped with a properly functioning welcome light. These lights will not work if your vehicle does not have an active courtesy light, or if it is only equipped with a reflector or blank cover. There must be wiring behind the light module inside the door panel. If you are unsure, please remove the reflector or cover to check whether there are wires present.
