Trailer Detected Warning Stuck On

I, the human driver, request an option to manually turn off trailer towing mode. Because apparently this truck’s computer has no clue I’m not towing a trailer.
Why not connect it with the Drive Mode / Tow Mode knob? When I’m Eco, normal or sport - no trailer. When in Tow mode, enter Trailer Type menu. None of this is difficult.

Did they get this fixed for you? Mine is stuck in this mode, they did the recall reprograms for me and didn't help.

I'm going to try this had this error for about 1 month abd and the worthless dealership did the TSB update and said it was working. Picked up the truck and back to square one once more and now have an appointment to a different dealership.

Did you get it fixed? Mines stuck on too, never hooked up a trailer.

There was an update they installed that seemed to work on the 2024. I have a 2025 now and it seems to work better. Has the dealer offered to install a software update?

They did 2 recall updates. That did nothing. I left it there today with the TSB for reflashing BSM's but they said 4 techs didn't show up to work. So tomorrow is the 3rd day they will have it. It's a damn joke for something that should just have a setting toggle.
So fed up with Toyota since getting this truck.

It’s a bad design. Tow mode should be directly connected to the Drive Mode button as a selectable Tow mode. Do we have to think of everything?
