I've only popped the center channel speaker out to use it as a bluetooth speaker a couple of times but I'm always impressed at the sound considering how small the speaker is.

Yesterday I tried to take it out though and it is stuck. Depressing it doesn't trip the spring mechanism to eject it from the holder. It appears to be locked in place and you can't just grab it and pull it straight out, which makes sense because you wouldn't want it moving around or popping out accidentally while driving.

Has anyone else experienced this? It appears to be properly inserted and functioning fine so I don't think I placed it in wrong the last time I used it. I really don't want to take it to the dealer and have them take the dash apart. Frankly, I don't trust them to not screw something else up. I'd almost rather just leave it there permanently....

BTW, 24,000 miles on the truck and this is really the first issue I've had of any kind. Overall I'm very happy with the vehicle!

wonder if the plastic expanded a bit in the sun? I wouldn't bother taking it to the dealer, maybe just get a few spare giftcards and wedge them in on the sides to try and lift it out, maybe need a third hand to push the button while someone else wiggles it free?

When I first bought my truck, they forgot to give me mine (people take them during test drives), and I noticed it wouldn't go in right, had to pop the latch even though nothing was in there, and then it went in (and has come back out) fine since.
