🎁 Prize
Standard version tailgate mat
1766550108715-b1.webp

OR
Full-Coverage Tailgate Mat
1766550167857-x1.webp

📌 About the full coverage tailgate mat:
Just to be fully transparent, this mat is not compatible with tonneau covers. That said, if you often haul large or heavy items like lumber, it provides excellent protection and really gets the job done.

Is it just the full coverage that doesn’t work with a tonneau coved? If so I’ll enter for the standard version. Thanks!

One problem for an accessory to solve would be a directional overhead front light cover, kind of like the air nozzle on an airplane. Probably paired with better bulbs or LEDs

One problem I wish could be solved with my 2024 Tacoma Tacoma TRD Off-Road, would be for someone to make a accessory trim piece that covers the 2 seat adjustment levers, and the lumber button. Of course.Make them in different trim colors to match the different models.

A mat that keeps items from sliding around behind the seats in the xtracab. I love all the storage in my truck, but every time I hear something slide across the hard plastic bins, I envision scratches. I wish you all made a soft, easy to remove (to clean) mat for this space.

Happy holidays, all!

I wish there was an insert for the dashboard speaker. So the dash can still look decent when the speakers removed.

Clarification, the title says hood deflector or tailgate mat but the post itself just says tailgate mat. Is the deflector still part of it?

Reguardless, as for accessories, I'd like to see a dedicated starlink mini mount which does not require fab work or a roof rack. I have seen a few discussing how they just wedge it on the dashboard, I don't like it but I had an idea for it. Other manufacturers have started producing trays they fit behind the screen on the dashboard of the truck. I'd like to combine the two and make a mount that fits behind the screen that would allow the starlink mini to have a purpose made home. Preferably with the ability to easily remove it. There are manufacturers which also make silicone sleeves for the mini for protection. The mount could be a friction fit using the silicone sleeves. Not particularly your market but still.

While you're fishing for ideas that do fit yout market, those of us who went non-hybrid have under seat bins in under the rear seat. I would also like rubber mats for those, possibly with molded organizers for recovery gear so it doesn't rattle around and make noise. For example a slot with raised edges for a hitch receiver with a shackle, and another slot for a few soft shackles for the passenger side bin. A divider in the center of the drivers side so you can carry a kinetic rope and a rolled up set of jumper cables. Or just some separated bins for ratchet straps.

Another member here brought up the topic of complete rubber floor replacements and ditching the carpet. No one makes them yet, and they would be ideal for those of us in the rust belt.

There is a manufacturer that makes hood insulation, but you could also expand into that market with a nice thick rubber hood mat. Molded and with as much coverage to the hood as possible to eliminate as much of that injector rattle as possible.

Lastly, a roof liner. Some manufacturers are making skins which cover the rear "bump" of the cab. That's to protect it when hauling cargo leaned over the top of the cab. What nobody is doing is making a think rubber roof "skin". With the popularity of mounted racks and accessories, there is a tendency of oxidation from steel accessories and paint damage from losing the ability to properly clean the roof. A thin removable molded roof skin to protect the paint and also reduce noise from roof mounted accessories in the cabin. One for sunroof trucks, and one for solid roof.
