Hello!
I'm currenty running TRD PRO wheels off of a 2025 Sequoia. I want to go back to stock rims(+55mm), but I like the increased offset/fit of my current wheels, which are +44mm.
Question, can I run a 10-12mm spacer on the stock lugs without fear? Here's what I'm looking at.

Also, if anyone is lookng for a set of BBS TRD Pro wheels for their rig, I'll have some for sale soon :)

In Canada it is illegal for a tire store to instll spacers. There is a reason for that and that is you cannot check the inside stud torque without taking the wheel off. In your case it appears like it goes on the same original studs so my comment to that is shorter thread grab for retaining the wheels. Do you understand the side forces on those studs when cornering. Sometimes we have to think things through and put the blingy look in second place. Best bet is to buy wheels with the offset you want.

Yea, us 4G folks are already getting the Jeep reputation with our fang lights and shit lol I would stop short of the wheel spacers and save for properly offset wheels

Appreciate the responses! I definitely understand the side forces, was just hoping someone would say 10mm less thread was negligible. The issue is I’m trying to avoid the look of aftermarket wheels. I like the stock TRDs, just wanted a hair more offset. Oh well!

I thought I saw some "TRD style" wheels that looked almost identical ? Maybe the offset is different ?

Ok so 1st and foremost don't listen to anyone who tells you spacers are unsafe! The reputation came from idiots running them in the 80s and 90s and with fools today who do not torq to spec. 2nd spacers are ran on prerunners who race over 100mph in baja including pro truck like us and my family. 3rd yes you can run the mm you want however that thin might force you to trim studs. My Sons 25 is running 25mm Bonoss spacers which is about 1" on factory TRD 7.5 x 17s and it just pokes as they say. We added front ARK mud flaps just to kick down the mud a bit and they work perfect. Keep in mind the factory 17 are 7.5 and the 18 are 8 inch width.

Side note Bora and Bonoss are the only spacers I'd buy Bonoss having milled cooling fins for your rotors.

Cheers and Happy modding
