Hey guys I was looking into getting a preload collar lift and level kit and found out Ironman off-road makes a new lift and level kit. I’ve seen a lot about their foam cell shocks but nothing about their coil spacers. Everyone seems to be going with the Wescott designs spacers but they have less lift. Any advice on which to go with ?

Yep, I also did the Ironman level kit. Ride is good, install straight forward. It's more lift, less money, less wait. I'm happy with the Ironman kit and would recommend it.

Toyota offers a "factory" 2 1/2" lift kit and they change out the springs, shocks, and the upper control arms. Either they're just trying to sell you extra stuff, or that's the right way to lift your truck.

OP wasn't asking about the $3400 (from memory)option Toyota offers. I'm sure it's very nice. However, not all can afford that or upgrading to pro such as yourself. Speaking for myself, I am comfortable with paying less than a 1/10 of that and using the new Bilstein suspension my truck came with. If, in the future, I choose to go a different route, like an entirely new suspension, I can do that and feel like I used the right suspension that my truck came with and am merely replacing it once it's wore out. You kind of come across like a guy with too much money who realizes he overpaid for isodynamic seats.

The TRD Pro has a lot features that are clearly for show (hood scoop, aluminum rocker "protectors", etc), but for the modest 1 1/2" lift they gave it, they went with taller coil springs, taller shocks, and UCAs with different geometry. They could have just put collar spacers in there and lowered the price/made more money, but they didn't.

Toyota offers a range of models at different price points.

Aftermarket companies offer a range of products at different price points.

How you spend your money, what it does to the ride, reliability, and warranty is up to you.

If I have too much money, why would I care if I overpaid for my seats?

Why are you intruding on posts suggesting options that aren't part of the dialigue?

Imagine this scenario. A group of people are discussing if they should go to the beach or watch a baseball game. Then an interloper butts in and says "Both of those are wrong, you should go out for dinner, that is the right choice." Is the interloper helpful or just rude?

Because not everyone knows that preload collar lifts increase spring rate and reduce travel - which is why Toyota doesn't do their lifts that way.

OP said he didn't know anything about Ironman coil spacers. Looks like they're a combination of strut spacers and preload spacers. I believe the Wescott is preload only. No one else said anything about these differences. Don't know what his or anyone else's knowledge of suspension design/trade offs is. But I guess we don't want to discuss things like that here.

Those details are helpful. I guess I didn't see those in your Initial post.

FYI: according to westcott, their product reduces travel by 1/2 inch if you are equipped with stabilizer disconnect, which I am. So, I agree, all new parts are the ideal way to go from an engineering stand point. From a practical standpoint that considers cost and real world, I think the right solution is a little more.... individual, you might say.
