What is this uncovered plug ?

Directly above the exhaust on my 2025 TRD pro , should I cover it ?

That's the rear AUX plug. It is unpowered. One of the wiring harnesses you should have gotten is to plug A into C which sends power to the rear. I believe it sends the 15A/AUX1, but you could rewire it if you want.

Bonkers the rest of mine have dummy plugs on them , I’ll check if one of my others fits and order a new one to keep it clean, thank you

I’ve managed to find the number on the plug, potentially the Toyota part number 900180-11287 but I can’t see any schematics showing it nor can I confirm so I can order a plug for it, none of the pigtails included with my truck look like they’ll fit


I'm beginning to think this is the plug for the optional air compressor, because the AUX button plug is under the truck with a bunch of other connectors

Okay false alarm I guess you can either learn from my worry or delete the thread, looks like it’s completely dead, no wires going to it, almost like it’s a holder for the bed power plug while running through the chassis
