I’m curious how many Tacoma owners are actually using the front wall of the bed for storage — or if it’s mostly just wasted space.
We made this Front Bed MOLLE Panel for the 2024–2026 Tacoma 5-ft bed around a pretty simple idea: get the smaller stuff off the bed floor and give tools, recovery gear, straps, first-aid kits, and other equipment a place to stay.

A few basics:
  • 3mm aluminum construction
  • MOLLE-compatible mounting slots
  • 300 lbs rated load
  • Uses existing factory mounting points — no drilling or cutting
  • Installation is typically under 30 minutes
  • Sandblasted finish designed to handle scratches and everyday truck-bed use
One thing worth mentioning: if you’re running a retractable tonneau cover, hardware or the canister near the cab may interfere depending on the setup. If you’re unsure, a photo of your bed usually makes fitment much easier to confirm.

What would you actually mount there first — recovery gear, tools, air setup, fire extinguisher, or something else?

Been thinking about this one again — the front wall of the bed feels like one of those spots that could be really useful if it’s set up right.

I’d probably use it for stuff I want easy access to but don’t want sliding around in the bed — straps, first-aid gear, small tools, maybe an air hose.

If you’re running a tonneau cover, what setup do you have? I’m curious how much room people actually have up front.

And if you had this panel right now, what would be the first thing you’d mount on it?
