2024 Tacoma TRD Pro in Underground Color at Seattle Auto Show

It was great to finally see it in person!

How would you describe the color as compared to the current mag grey? Seems flatter maybe?

Honestly, it’s freaking beautiful and does NOT look like anything the picture shows… much darker… at least inside under florescent lighting. I really want a Supersonic Red truck, but it really made me think twice when I saw it in person.

My son and I are going to the Charlotte Auto Show at the Charlotte Convention Center tomorrow night. I’m hoping they have all the new midsize trucks on the floor! I’m especially interested in the Tacoma and Ranger.

Woohoo so exciting! Going to check it out on Saturday!

Unfortunately it was locked and they said that they are NOT going to unlock it for the show

That's a bummer. I was hoping to go check the new interior up close. Guess I'll have to wait a little longer.

So torn between this underground and terra. Honestly will take either allocation at this point.

It DARKER in person? Or DARKER in these photos?

Follow up…. If you’re thinking about the Charlotte Autoshow? Save your time and money!!! No (new) Tacoma, no Ranger, no Canyon or Frontier. A major disappointment for a car show to say the least.

The only new midsize there was the Colorado (a TrailBoss). I have to say it was really nice and the interior space was roomier than I expected. If they had a SuperCrew/longbed it would be on my short list.

can you describe the underground color a bit more? is it darker then these pictures looks or lighter? is it a flat color? does it have green or blue in it at different angles?

It is darker in person than in these photos. It is also much flatter than Magnetic Grey Metallic that is is replacing, but it does have some sparkling. It looks mean.

No green or blue in different angles, just straight grey. As I just said in another response, it is much darker in person than in the photo. Much flatter that the outgoing Magnetic Grey Metallic.
