That's a pretty blue

Here you have a premium I force max sport loaded as you can get for the most part but, notice the head lights. They are not the same as the Pro and TH referring to the daytime running light.

That's horse sh%t.

Great to see this interior! All the 2024 Tacoma TRD Sport shown before this had the blue interior. Glad to see the plain gray version.

This sport looks like is has every single option I want. I wonder if it has the digital rearview mirror as well.

I'm definitely watching the top spec Sport and the Limited. Pricing is going to be my main motivating factor between them, with how well-equipped this is.

I just don't think that'll get it done. I know any midsize will be a hard sell coming from a Fullsize Crew, but this could have been better.

I keep seeing those pictures of the back seat and I'm convinced they have to be showing the front seats pushed all the way back. There's no way they could sell a truck with a back seat with that little of leg room.

The 2nd/3rd gen trucks were that way. I'm 6ft, and with the front seat properly adjusted, there is maybe 4" between the back rest and rear seat cushion. the Ridgeline delivers 4" more rear leg-room (translates to twice the resulting leg space), 3" longer bed, while coming in 2" shorter overall (for that important garagebility). Even if you wash the longer bed for the separate bed/cab structure, it's just better packaging.

I'm 6'2" and there's more room behind me than that with where my seat is at in my 3rd gen.

Hey- I sincerely hope I'm completely wrong about the space and it's actually a viable option.

So here's my educated guess on this as a design engineer who used to have design control over seats in Tractors. Toyota is a pretty smart company, normally, and I'd bet a steak dinner they have a requirement document for the cabin that covers things like rear seat leg room. My guess based on going through tons and tons of reviews like this is they have a requirement that says something like "The rear passenger seat shall have xxx millimeters of leg room when the front seat is at it's forward most position and shall have yyy millimeters of leg room when the front seat is at it's rearward most position." Those measurements most likely are the same as or really close within a could percent of what the 3rd gen has for leg room.

Also depends if u sit with seat back leaned forward (straight up), neutral (little bit rear lean), or rearward (keep my head even with pillar so if I get shot at, there's still some metal protecting me. One person's 6' 2" may not be the same as another's (longer torso, shorter legs - vice-versa)

Yes, yes. I'm sure Toyota has a design spec like that, but I'm also old enough to remember Mike Sweers touting the benefits of drum brakes in off-road situations. Time will tell.
