Hi guys, The ETA will be at 6/9 for the first batch, 6/15 for the second and 6/25 for the third.

P.S. If you made a reservation first but no product received, it means that Amazon's inventory lock exceeded our quantity, so the goods couldn't be dispatched. However, after the second batch of product arrive, we will prioritize shipping for the customers whose orders haven't been dispatched yet.

Will there be another promo code?

I see it’s available for ordering on Amazon again, although with a long lead time. Hopefully we’ll get another discount for the forum.
I'm in for one when you have that discount.

Just sharing my experience with my 24 Tacoma sr5 and engine noise. I noise I am referring to is the sporadic clattering injector noise. I bought the Carista scanner to turn off the noise features. I bought the Tacoma insulation under the hood as well. Since the noise would always come and go depending on many factors, I seemed hopeful at times these solutions both helped but in the end after months of testing they simply did not help enough. The noise rears it ugly head on it's own. it is never the same. Could be cold or hot temps, cold or hot engine, under load or no load. Having lived with it new for 20k miles, I am confident it has a mind of it's own so the theory of the injectors being the culprit makes the most sense.

Not wanting to give up, I then covered the entire engine compartment with a sound deadening mat from the firewall the radiator. This is in addition to the OEM hood insulation. I believe the mat I bought was the Dynamat. It was an inch thick sound deadening material and literally covered the entire engine compartment resting in place on top of the engine fender to fender. I only did this as a test as I was a bit concerned about the extra heat build up. I left it in place on and off for a few weeks while i tested the sound. While the Dynamat made the most significant difference, the noise was still easy to pick up on and was still as annoying as F*^#.

If you have one of these truck you may notice how loud the wiper motor is. That got me thinking about the sporadic clattering injector noise resonating through the firewall more than the top of the engine. There is a total lack of sound deadening material in this area up under the dash as well as the engine side of the firewall. At least, on the SR5 trim. As my truck is leased and going back in 2 years, I decided I just have to live with it but if it was owned, I would seriously think about insulating both sides of the firewall as much as possible and using two layers of the Dynamat blanket on the underside of the entire hood.

As for me, this will be a deal breaker in 2 years if Toyota does not address it.

It’s not just high pressure direct injectors your hearing, the high pressure fuel pump is also right on top of the engine in the open.

You are probably correct. I am a freak about noises in general, but I am very disappointed with this. Although it's not the motor per say, the truck flat out sounds terrible at times. I pray they fix it. I would really have a terrible time jumping ship to around brand next time around.

My truck was built 11/24 and has been great, no loud weird noises that are not abnormal. I knew going into purchasing this truck that the engines are noisy due to the nature of the high pressure direct injection, there’s really no way around that.
