2024 Limited trailer hitch

Found out something interesting today. The two hitch devices I have used on the 19’ Tacoma Spirt will not attach to the hitch on the 24’ Limited. The pins are a 1/4” short. One is a three ball hitch and the other is a college logo cover with a lock. Can you buy longer pins?

My limited came with a longer pin. Was with other stuff under the rear seat.

My Sport had the pin in the glove compartment. Of course it's not the locking type.

my TH came with 2 pins. one in the glove box and one with the ball reciever (no ball included) did y'all get a hitch cover? the rubber insert for the reciver when not used.

my rav4 came with one when i had the hitch added and my buddy's tundra came wioth one as well

Hmmm........Ball receiver? Is this only on certain models? I have a 2024 TRD Sport and didn't get the receiver.

i dont know the name of it. the 2" hitch that you add the ball to. ball mount? male end of the reciever?
my TH came with it and a spare pin hiding behind the seat.
my rav4 trail (adventure) came with it when i bought the hitch and it came with the rubber toyota logo insert for the reciever.

that said, on the trailhunter, the rubber insert doesnt fit that well there is a lip from the bumper that sits right at the top of the reciever that blocks it a bit.

Yes. Thats the ball mount that came with my TH

There's a rubber plug as well that came with my rav4 and my buddy's tundra. I doubt i threw it away but indont think I got one.

I got 2 pins as well in my Canadian Sport. No ball or insert. I'm still using the insert the dealer reluctantly gave me when I bought my 2020 Off Road. Used it in my 2022 Sport too.

You need a 4" pin. More specifically, you need a pin that has more than 3-3/4" between stop and pin/lock point. Mine came with a basic one in the glove box just as everyone else is saying.
Every home depot around me carries them in stock as well, including silver and black locking versions.
