Good to know. How’d the wiring go?

The wiring wasn’t bad. I didn’t follow the instructions for wiring it up though mainly because I have the hybrid and I didn’t want to wire directly to the 12V battery. I just cut off the relay and switch wiring and then wired directly to my AUX1 switch for the lights and AUX2 for the yellow back lights.

I had to open the light bar and switch the direction of the wire harness so that the pigtail is on the drivers side. The only hard part of doing that was getting my fingers inside it to access the mount screws for the lights.

How’s the wind noise?

It is a lot quieter than I expected. I only hear some wind noise on the highway. No whistling or anything annoying.

Would you say the light output is pretty decent? It's been quite hard to tell from the photos they've posted so far. I know the ambers are just backight, but curious about how decent the actual white lights throw.

I don’t know yet. I haven’t driven in the dark since I installed the rack. I’ve only tested that they worked in the garage.

I’d love to see more pictures of the Dek if you’ve got some more. I’m trying to decide if it’s worth it. Also is the backlight yellow or orange?

Sorry I haven’t been able to get out and take some pictures. Finally grabbed a few in the garage today. I’m a little too short to get some nice pictures from some distance. I would say the color of the backlight is more orange than yellow.

thanks for these photos! How much height do you think it adds? I park in a garage for work with a clearance of 6'6" and it looks like it's just level with the fin. If that's the case then great I should be able to install it

It’s pretty much level with the fin. I think it is slightly below the fin.
