idk about everyone else but scratching the screen in my new truck would upset me everytime i get in. Then, there's the anti-glare benefit of some protectors. Finally, dust. I'm not 100% sure its the screen protector but not as much dust accumulates on my screen now. Its great. And i've just been talking about the head unit. I've got the ScreenProTech screen protectors on all the displays. Its just one extra bit of protection.

My wife's Sequoia was purchased used and the displays clearly show it. Had they installed screen protectors, I imagine the displays would still look like new.

With respect, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell if you're interested.
To each their own. Personally, I enjoy the extra protection of rock sliders, bumpers, seat belt scuff protection on the B pillars, seatback and seat protectors for dogs and kids, PPF, ceramic coating, skid plates, etc. If I bought that bridge in Brooklyn, I'd sell laminate passes too.

I went with air bag compatible seat covers for seeing the SRS icon/logo on the actual seats. Beyond not compromising anyone's safety, I totally love the easily removable thus washable aspect. Getting the floor mats that cover more than the Toyota mats was a good choice. TripleAliner in my case but I see a few offer that.

Otherwise there's really nothing I can even think of that would be nice or helpful because I was careful to get the model/package to serve my work needs from the start.

I think I'm getting the right smile there. I'm in a circle of pickup owners who are trail builders, ski area crew, current or former guides, business owners including construction & engineering etc.... We do a lot of back country travel and sports too. We confess to stuff like lockers, some recovery gear and the right tires (3PMSF and/or AT) but are surviving just fine without the overlander or SuperTucker look.

Complete new sound system. In my opinion the only mod that my truck needed

Yes. JBL doesn’t make a premium sound system for our trucks, of course that’s just my opinion changed all the speakers to focal and added an audio dynamics mk1000.6 amp a audio dynamics dsp812 and lots of sound proofin..it will rattle the windows

any issues between the head unit and controlling sound? Tacoma Beast video on Orella amp lead me to believe that you have to spend 2k on the amp just to impeove the sound

Everything works as it should. The guy that installed the system has been doing installations like this for 35 years. He owns the business and I have known him for 15 years. The amp that I have costs me 650 and the dsp was 675 all timed and tuned. No issues with the head unit. All I can tell ya is it hits hard and cranks

I've always wondered about these. I see so many people installing them but never got the point. I keep a screen protector on my phone because there's a chance I drop my phone and break it. What's the benefit of protecting a screen that can't leave the truck?
For me it’s easier to clean and doesn’t get smudgy at all now. Almost zero fingerprints left from your greasy dirty fingers and if you notice on your cluster gauge that when you wipe it clean with even the softest towel it will leave scratches. Almost everything that has a screen inside…a/c controls your gear selector screen, don’t forget your cluster screen (that scratches way to easy) and especially the 14 inch screen will get scratched. I personally don’t like that look. Yeah, really good chance of anyone dropping their phone but a screen protector won’t help with that much…you’ll need a phone case for that.

The anti glare of the Protech is worth its weight in gold. Plus, I figure after years of use tiny scratches will build up on an unprotected screen.

Husky all weather mats, some carbon fiber overlays, fun stickers on open/blank switches, anti glare screen protector and tinted windows. That is it for me. I explored a new stereo system but backed out. No one here local seems to have the knowledge, know how and recommendations that made me comfortable enough to go all in with that upgrade.
