Would LOVE to hear some stories of 2024 owners with high mileage and what issues they’ve encountered!

there is a LC250 owner in Pennsylvania that is over 100k miles already. he's a medical courier and drives back and forth across the state. He has had zero issues outside of regular maintenance. as of 3 months ago, the owner was at 110k.

I'd be less worried about the drivetrain and more worried about how the paint looks in 5 years :cwl:

Gonna start putting pennies away for the Maaco re-spray
Probably gonna get served a plate of rocks after I say this, but I haven't had any issues with this!

Underground is just really soft, maybe the other colors are better. I hand wash, foam cannon + microfibers and swirled the fk out of my paint almost instantly. It also seems to chip in flakes, at least on the door, the paint adhesion seems poor.

The hood and fenders are visibly painted different than the rest of the truck. The hood actually has the best finish of the whole truck to be honest, considerably less orange peel. Just seems very inconsistent.

Odd. Yea, all of the "orange peel" on my truck is in places you would expect a manufacturer to place it for rock chip prevention and durability.

Yeah chip guard is normal, I have that too, it's just that the entire truck is orange peel pretty much :cwl:

Dude I'm sorry! That's a bummer. Toyota should fix that s#*t
To be fair I have been watching these guys swap their trucks out bc of paint issues, and I can't help but think if you got a decent rig the first time, you should probably hang onto it.

Swapping out a truck bc of the paint only to get a lemon in some other, considerably more catastrophic way sounds like a very 2026 moment :cwl:

Damn, and I thought I did miles.
I'm sitting at 29,000 since April 14th on my 2025.

I'm at 81K. Bought it April 2024. Paid for the extended warranty using the rationale that since everything was redesigned I'd be at enough risk to warrant the price. I'm beginning to think I wasted my money. It's running great. I've had no issues at all.
