We all know they come with 265/65 R18 General Tire Grabbers. I want trusty KO2's but looking at sizes that could fit. Early images give no such luck.

265/65 R18 comes out to: 31.56" overall and 10.43" wide. Same as my 265/75 R16 on my 2016 SR.

Two sizes I am seeking are:

265/70 R18 at 32.61" overall and 10.43" wide.

275/65 R18 at 32.07" overall and 10.83" wide.

Can the 0.40" wider still fit or can it handle the 32.61" overall?

i almost ordered some 265/70 R18's yesterday cause they're on sale.

But I'm only guessing that toyota would leave enough extra space for that.

275/70 R18's would also be good but the choice of tires is limited unless you go for heavier 10ply

Here is my concern with the added 0.4" or 0.2" per side, can I clear this already tight gap with upper a-arm? New Tacoma front should be similar to 3rd gen. on front end. For 275/65 R18

I'm wondering the same thing. I work for Goodyear, so they'll switch those out for any Goodyear tire I want (within reason). I have to order them ahead of time, so it would be great to know what will fit.

Definitely following as I want to buy KO2s, or maybe work some magic to get them thrown into the deal, right off the lot.

StreeTaco stated:

TRD OR iForce comes with 17” wheels / 265/70 R17 Tires.
TRD OR iForce Max comes with 18” wheels/ 265/70 R18

I am not seeing any suspension mods for the hybrid TRD OR, less I am wrong. Only thing would be the chin spoiler off on that model?

If that is the case, than the 265/70 R18 size or 32.61" tire would fit the TRD Sport.

Congrats on your new Taco. Would love to see some pics. (y)
its just plain right now....no real accessories available yet. Things will change in the future. Will love to find out what kind of AT tires I can get and still use the stock 18" wheels. I really like the wheels.

The TRD Sport comes factory with 265/65R18 and shows a 265/70R18 is still a solid fit. The TRD Pro comes factory with a 265/70R18 and a 275/70R18 is the bigger tire that fits. Many tire brands are available in those sizes, and will fit the factory wheels.

I haven’t owned any Tacomas and I know nothing of the clearance with suspension and steering elements. However, I owned a Hyundai Santa Fe and switched out the stock 235/60/18 for 245/60/18. No issues at all. My Highlander I switched out 245/60/18 for 255/60/18. No issues at all. I assume/know that the Tacoma will be able to handle going from 265 to 275 width and/or from 65 to 70 sidewall ratio. I will be looking to get a Sport Manual and I have already thought of going to 275 width when the original tires need replacing.

You think thats without making any significant changes to the truck?
