TRD Off Road in Terra color

I feel like this color just doesn’t get a lot of love. I’ll admit that sometimes it comes off a bit more orange than I’d like but when it’s low light this thing looks mean. Also most don’t realize it does have metal flakes it’s not just a flat paint. Also another controversial opinion - I love my chrome illuminated Toyota emblem

Terra is my favorite color, too. If I could have got my prerunner in any color, it would have been this (instead, it was catch as catch can and I got Ice Cap white).

I finally saw Terra in person. It is really nice. Chrome emblem is like a tattoo on a smoking hot girl for me. Auto drops 4 points. Smoker another 4 ;-)

This is a fine color, myself im happy with my Bronze oxide, ….side note i have learned after owning multiple tacos, even if i like color i will not buy a non matallic paint from Toyota…their non matalic paint quality sucks. One short coming from toyota…its very obviouse, i love the underground color but the paint sucks, my son has a 2025 trd offroad in black…paint quality is shappy, my wife has a 2025 Hilander in black..matalic. Beautiful pant finish………i think i mis spelled matalic lol, oh well you get the jist lol

It’s more of an homage for me. My first Toyota was a 2003 4Runner sr5 with 137k and it was a salvage title. I didn’t mod anything and that thing took me everywhere. Gave it to my sister at 267k miles 10 years later and it still run like a dream. I just love seeing that Toyota logo in chrome for that reason alone.

This is the reason I went silver on my 5th gen 4Runner. It will never show age and I’ll take it to the grave. Minimal metal flakes on the terra so we’ll see how it holds up over time.

Interesting you both say this and I am not disagreeing necessarily as I have no clue the chemical make up of metallic vs non. Having said that all the old Toyota's I see on the road (and I live in Kentucky so we have a lot) with horrible paint and oxidation on the roof and hood are always metallic colors like silver, maroon and gold shades.

Hmm, interesting, not sure what makes some paints vulnerable , it may be the elements, heat, sun
i have heard the color red can take a beating in hot sunny states, i do think toyota should up their game when it comes to paint quality,
