LOL, no gloves. Obviously opinions are subjective, but I think the seat and steering wheel heating in my previous 2023 frontier Pro-4X (RIP) was superior.
Or maybe at 63 years-old I’ve just become a wimp?
I’m a big fan of heated steering wheels, but I find the one in my Tacoma to be rather underwhelming. It’s better than nothing, but I also think it would be worthless in truly cold conditions.
But they (depending on the ring?) also convert your wheels to beadlocks. You’re not getting BL wheels for less than $500-$600/ea. having said that, I totally get your point. :)
I’m pretty happy if I can baby the throttle enough to get a tank average north of 17.5 mpg (and it’s usually less). Wheels, tires, skid plates, air dam removal all contributed to the decline, but at least my truck looks good. 🤓
The real mpg killer are the highway/tollway speeds around here...
2024 TRD Off-Road Premium, Hybrid. As you can see, this device is hooked to the 12v battery under the rear driver’s side seat. Any idea what it is or does? I’m about to disconnect it and toss it in the trash…
SDHQ's products aren't cheap, but the quality may be the best I've ever seen (including the packing). I just took possession of an ARB dual compressor mounting kit with the bed air chuck and extended air intake kits, and have to say, I'm super impressed. Pretty sure I'll be buying the power...
That sure seems excessive to me. My KO3s felt quite stiff at 36; lowering the pressure to 32 made them far easier to live with. Can’t imagine how stiff 40psi would be.
Depending where you are in Texas, I have a basically new (only 3K-4K miles) set of TRD off-road front springs you can have for free. Not sure how they compare to the Pro springs in terms of height, but might be worth a shot?
It’s definitely not as easy as the picture would lead you to believe. Would have been easier had I had access to a lift and not doing the install myself. It’s definitely doable, but if you’re like me the f-bomb may have been dropped a couple of 25 times. ;)
