The oem one is powder coated. Here’s a pic of the OEM one where the fastener has pushed thru the coating to the aluminum.

The price of this is not competitive enough. This needs to be like $2-300 to compete with the OEM TRD one.

You need to turn on adaptive cruise control vs. "normal" cruise control. Toggle the cruise control button, then when you set the speed it'll turn on lane centering.

I received mine but they each had some damage on the corners and also on the raised lettering. Unsure if I should just keep them since they're tow hooks or if I should let Elmhurst know.

OP, I've never opened a 4th gen mirror cap but my guess would be the electrical connector in there loose and clicking around

It’ll be fixed in ~2 weeks and then I’ll be able to get them on once I get it back. Long (multi-month) delay for parts.

I get my truck back in ~two weeks. I’m getting some paint work done. I’ll post on that once it’s complete as well.

Mine has no scratches at all but on the bright side that strip pops right off and you can replace it with a TRD one if you wanted.

I have CBI sliders and they look amazingly built. Unfortunately, truck is in the shop so I have yet to install them but I will post if there are/aren't any install issues once I get it back

1. Build quality looks good. Plastic molds look good and coating on the aluminum components look uniform. There are some gaps that I wish were tighter between the aluminum rails and plastics. I do not think this will be noticeable when installed on the truck and just a nit-picky observation...

I really anticipated getting a softopper when I bought this truck but the gap between the bed and the topper (due to the roof spoiler) is really not doing it for me. That opinion is based on the very few images I’ve seen of it on their website. I’m also very interested to see if anyone has pics...

Put some miles on it. If it really bothers you then reset it and put some miles on it. Your truck will show you what your MPG's were for any given trip on the cluster at the end of your drive.

Could you mount it to the other side of the slider plate? Looks like it is hitting the welds from the angles/images shared.

I'm getting about 285 miles per tank before the gas light turns on, with an indicated 19.5 mpg. (non-hybrid, stock suspension/tires, TRD OR, 11k total miles) 80 mile daily commute mixed: city (~40mph), highway (~70mph) and windy roads(~50mph).

I missed the 10% discount window but also ordered these and will upload pictures once installed.
