The side doors work great. They are larger than the windoors on my old Leer. And by the way, I keep a 4-1/2" long hook to pull stuff out.

It should work. The Fumoto hose comes with brass fittings that snap over the barb.

I had mine replaced last month. I chose a place that doesn't do insurance. Hartford issued a check without blinking via Safelite. I had a choice between waiting 30 days or over three months (if I wanted the heated windshield). You may want to check availability.

Did you have to pay shipping? I agree about gluing all of the seal. Works great.

Gotcha. My mistake. Let's put it this way: if I wrecked my truck today, I'd put another Smartcap on a new Tacoma.

Clever comment. So, I didn't buy one because they're expensive. Perhaps that's on your menu, but not mine. I put money down on an allocation in June, and as soon as I had the final VIN, I ordered a Leer. I picked up my truck in early August, and eight weeks later, I called the Leer dealer and...

They do. The Smartcaps are lighter than fiberglass caps. If I recall, mine is 160 pounds. Powder coated stainless steel.
