So, the first note was telling you that certain features aren't available while towing, such as Lane Assist. That's not an error. When it asked you, "Trailer not Detected, Please Confirm Yes or No." You missed that test. The answer is Yes.

For my ditch lights, I bought a (blue light while on) push switch from Cali Raised. You pull the covers with a plastic spud. I think they've got a video showing how it's done.

Nope. It's a heavy plastic label with a serial number on it. It sounded like a heat shield.
