  1. NON-subscription car programmer

There's a YouTube or two that shows the difference on a Tundra. Here it is:
  2. NON-subscription car programmer

Yes. It's quieter. Not lot, but why do I want to hear any engine noise?
  3. Warped Windshield Cowl

You don't want water to freeze in the opening. It should be a warranty fix.
  4. 2024 vs 2025

As I said above, the transmission is the same from the 2024 and the 2025. They fixed the problem with swarf left in them during the manufacturing process. Metal cuttings. The only downside to a 2024 over a 2025 is a reduced resale value because it's a "year older."
  5. NON-subscription car programmer

Pay for a month and cancel. Carista is the only OBD app that has that function. There are a ton of other OBD readers that can read codes without a subscription.
  6. 2024 vs 2025

The last 2024 off-the-line has the same parts as the first 2025. Toyota fixes issues as they develop with a new model.
  7. What is the Ply Rating for 2024 TRD Off Road BF Goodrich All Terrain Stock Tires

4 ply. I traded mine in for 10 ply tires.
  8. What about the leaf-springs?

I've got an OR and find the new suspension outstanding. I have never driven a truck that handles washboard like this thing. I doubt it's just the rear coils.
  9. POWER and TOPPERS

Me too. As I'm sure you know, induction stoves eat a lot of juice. I managed to pick up my new-in-the-box Propex for $400 from a guy who couldn't make it fit. They come up on eBay once in a while at reasonable prices. If I needed to build another teardrop and told my wife it wouldn't have a...
  10. TERRIBLE gas mileage on new Tacoma TRD OR

One week and 175 miles aren't enough data to make that assessment.
  11. TERRIBLE gas mileage on new Tacoma TRD OR

Give it time. I'm averaging about 19 back and forth to my two-light town and 22-23 on the highway at old-man speeds. I noticed a drop with winter fuels.
  12. Tailgate anti-theft lock

For me–where I live–it would be a waste of money. For your situation, the $60 might be worth the peace of mind. Maybe I missed it, but I'm surprised they didn't use security torx heads and include a bit for installation.
  13. POWER and TOPPERS

You'll not get much bang for heat from a battery system. I've got a teardrop camper with a Propex (propane) heater. It's flat-ass wonderful and uses very little electricity. But they aren't cheap.
  14. Can't Drive 2024 Trailhunter Past 75 mph

Because of vibration or it throttles out?
  15. Purpose of rear locker in 4wd only?

Nope. Not if one is slipping. I use my rear locker a few times a year in deep snow and it makes a huge difference.
  16. NHTSA Opens Investigation Regarding GM 6.2L V8 Engine Failures

I'm not connecting those GM dots to turbocharging. The reason turbos have a mythological reputation for unreliability is that back in the 90s, there were aftermarket turbos sold for engines that weren't designed for turbos.
  17. SmartCap Adventure Topper Installed

To me, the molle panels on the side doors are a big deal.
