The remote start via the app uses cell connectivity. If the phone isn’t within Bluetooth range, it can’t connect. It’s an easy fix once in the truck. Just hold the volume knob in until the screen reboots.

I've been Googling and am still not sure. It may have a transmission heater to get it up to temp faster.

I'm fairly certain this new tranny doesn't have a cooler.

Is there a transmission line to plug that into? I don't recall seeing anything coming off the tranny.

Is that based on the battery not charging in the teardrop, or no juice at the plug? I just tested my plug with the engine running, and it's got power; how much, I dunno. Sorry to hear you've fallen off the wagon and bought a teardrop. :cool: ;)

I think the driving assist is great, but we have deer and elk and oncoming fools.

Can't they just say, "this is the reason for the failure," and that's it? Is there a higher court to appeal their ruling, or what? Especially if theirs a service bulletin out on catch-cans?

It's been done that way for decades. My 2016 had the same loom, and it was fine when I traded it in after 117,000 miles. Nothing had deteriorated. Putting a plastic cover over that stuff isn't going to increase its longevity. There is a $100 aftermarket cover if you want to spend some money on...

I can't quite grasp installing a device that will void the warranty. To each their own, I suppose.

Two trucks? I don't think that qualifies for a TSB.

It means it hasn't been built yet.

It's my understanding that catch-cans benefit engines with port injectors since they don't clean the valves. Our new trucks have both port and direct injectors, and so each squirt of fuel cleans the valves. Or am I wrong?
