It's my understanding that catch-cans benefit engines with port injectors since they don't clean the valves. Our new trucks have both port and direct injectors, and so each squirt of fuel cleans the valves.
Or am I wrong?
I don’t know, but there’s a long vent on top that should negate the need.
Mine hasn't leaked a drop in 6,000 miles. Did you install it or a dealer? It mounts, as you may know, with very specific torque.
