If I recall from when @Gurvy522 recalibrated his parking/proximity sensors, the calibration procedure creates an association of which sensor serial number is in which location, and what's it's install angles are. So if you didn't track which was Outer-Left, Inner-Left, Inner-Right, Outer-Right...
Someone still needs to gamble and buy the two antennas and see if all the needed ECU are already there bc of 360 cameras. But have to also activate AUX camera within GTS+
More minor but:
Pre-buying a few accessories before driving the truck for a bit. Now I have the suite of musology inserts and door/console cups sitting in a box going unused. ~$50 waste
I have two Roll-n-Lock cargo dividers sitting boxed and unused bc I didn't realize they'd totally remove the...
I feel like normal and sport "ride like a truck", whereas switching over to comfort I get 2/3 of the way closer to the feel of a unibody SUV such as the Highlander.
Front two are squared off as an elbow rest and covered in dark gray softex. Same as the center console is covered and slightly padded. Rear doors are black plastic at the tops.
yes. When I'm driving on a reasonably bumpy / poorly maintained road or section of road I can feel distinct differences between sport, normal, and comfort. Less difference felt between sport and normal in the suspension (more in the transmission and steering). But in/out of comfort I feel a...
I meant within the context of our dog and us. But with that said, crates are not definitely better. For others that may be reading this thread later, here is some reference content. The size of your pet and your vehicle influence what might be "best/safest".
What Is the Best Way for a Dog to...
Nothing in life is truly "crash proof". A kennel flying out of the bed of a truck during a rollover event has equal or worse outcome potential.
I will agree with you though that a properly restrained animal in a vehicle is always better and safer for everyone - animal and person
I opted LTD HV. Full time 4wd being #1. Locking gas cap minor but so much more pleasing to the eye. The evenness of acceleration, even when loaded down or towing is fantastic. Loss of bench cargo space sucks, but with a dog hammock back there I wasn't getting to it easily anyway. Adapted mostly...
The camera would have required a different bracket. Either 3d printed, or RAVE to keep it oriented correctly. By factory, the heritage grille mount the camera upside down and this require a different bracket and different config code setting in GTS+
Interesting. I had no issues.

My gripes so far:
1. The canister cover that faces bed side should be painted with something much more durable given how much it's a scratch point. I plan to let it go then...
Dog tangent
That's why our 100lb ? is required to where a chest harness and be teathered to a LATCH anchor point any time the truck is leaving the driveway. It's proven to be the safest for them and for us. I can predict how I drive. I cannot predict how others will around me.
We used to use...
My LTD HV has the factory cross member, so not sure what you're talking about. Switched the heavy felt splash guard to the dense poly and totally happy. As far as another person's comment on the chrome, accept a few thousand more and you can greatly reduce it. I changed out mirror caps to...
In the hybrid, you access both batteries by pulling three snap plugs from along the front edge of the rear bench seat. Centered under each seat position. pull out with a trim tool, then twist and remove. Seat then hinges up towards the back. You might hear ripping, but it's ok. It's just a...
Correct. Red wire ends with an insulated 14-16g female spade terminal that is then heat-shrunk on it's crimp fitting for safety. It's pressed down onto what was an empty male spade within the F&R center. The fit is snug enough you're using pliers to pull it loose. That wire then runs to an...
If you think you need an aux alternator, you could explore the variety of posts on how and where folks have tucked on-board air inflators/compressors.
g'luck. thankfully I can plow what I need to with a 40" on my tractor.
unused spades are not fused. You need to add the requisite inline fuse or sub-fuse box. It's simply an extension of the battery hot.
Here's my setup running to an in-line fuse, then onward to the switching relay.
Why not? If you're trying to tap into the battery as a power source, it's equivalent. The rest of it is frame mounting ease/complications.
if you can jumper the truck from within the hood, you can hot anything you need from within the hood.
should one want to insist they need to directly...
Building on the above comment, sounds like the installer isn't very creative. You can tap into 12v constant hot right in the hood of the hybrid. Just put an insulated spade plug on any unused fuse blade within one of the two fuse boxes. I used the driver side one for my light bar.
