If it's just the seatbelt chime, why don't you guys spend $8.00 once and use The Tikit device for as long as you have it - until one of your passengers swipes it and you have to buy another. They make good stocking stuffers for ranchers and dog owners.
Since you asked, I lost interest in any super adhesive anything add on years ago. They always seemed to come off and cause paint issues long term. I might like the concept if it was form fitted, bolted on the lip of the hood and stood away from the body similar to what Lauren01 mentions.
I just ignore it. The message screen will tell me when Toyota thinks I need to do service, which I ignore too 'cause, depending on my driving, I my have already done it.
Most of the states I'm familiar with, when running the mountain peak, snow flake rated tires on your all wheel drive and 4x4 passenger vehicles only require that you carry chains in areas when chains are required - except of course when chains are required on all vehicles.
I've chained up my 4x4 a number of times when hunting in the back country in snow/winter conditions. Our tire stores have chain displays for different kinds of chains, mounting, size of chain, securing excess if you don't fit them exactly, etc. They can give you good advice about installing the...
"What Randy and Tim said. When the wipers are on the normal or fast settings, mine slow when I've stopped forward motion, regain speed when the rig does. Not a bad thing, just different in my limited experience.
Yah, I know what the door card says. I've run 35-37 psi unless towing in the 10 ply tires on my last 3 Tacoma's and have not had an issue. 265 70/17 Open Range Feels solid, tires wear as expected, tire life acceptable.
I use Westin drop step running boards. After my wife had a stroke we looked for a running board that would ensure she didn't slip as well as one that helped her get in the rig. I didn't want one that was in the way and caught my pants leg every time I got out. With our winter snow, slush, and...
Miqie - you can lock the rig with the fob inside IF you remove the actual key from the fob and use it to lock the door. You can do that while the rig is running also if you want. You must use the key to unlock the door(s) at that point as well.
The reception for their music is generally good, but so broken up in the canyons and mountain shadow areas I quit'em and went with audio books when I travel. Good to know about the lower rate, but terrain still has a say.
My hearing aids cost about $7K and I can't distinguish many words in a country song. Life is grand with a good audio book. I probably shouldn't contribute on this thread:fistbump::lipssealed:
Along with some of the stuff others mentioned I carry a scissor jack (for when the issued bottle jack is too tall or unstable), 2 MREs, a Mountain House meal, an extra MRE food heater, and a couple water bottles.
Drive it till it starts getting better. BUT don't get rid of the '06. I enjoy driving the '24 but missed my old one so bought an '04 for a daily driver.
