Correct procedure is to have better tires to traction control doesn't matter ? Traction control is used in 4LO as the Multi-Terrain function, so it uses the traction system to modify how the torque is delivered. In this particular case, it's quite possible nothing would have broken if traction...
Can't tell if baiting or you genuinely believe the sky is falling.
First, I don't think anyone on this forum expected the launch of the 2024 Tacoma to go seamlessly. There will always be some issues that Toyota needs to address. When people say that the Tacoma will be reliable, they mean that...

My use case is a bit different than yours so I'm set on a mid-size, but based on what you're describing the Tundra SR5 Off Road is going to be cheaper than the Trailhunter and fit your needs quite well.
Has anyone scaled their Tacoma yet? If the 1200lb rating actually includes occupants as it's worded, that would suggest a curb weight of around 5100lbs which seems a bit high to me?
You said 4Runner multiple times, but I think you meant Land Cruiser.
Anyway, the Land Cruiser is full time 4WD, so I'm hoping the part-time Tacomas will be the same or better. I suspect the Land Cruiser is SLIGHTLY heavier, but I don't think they've indicated a curb weight.
Not a chance. Pricing won't be released until April. It sounded like Part 2 will be up fitting, so hopefully they will touch on cargo capacity, towing, etc.
