Yes, That’s the way it appears to me. Not sure if the VPC is an added processing step for the Pro/Trailhunter trims, but that’s the way the salesman made it sound. I don’t have a lot of confidence in the information he’s providing to this point.
I’ve received tracking screenshot from a member on another forum. All of the dates I’ve been provided have been bogus.
The truck wasn’t built until 5/29. Arrived by rail to Kendelton 6/08, where it currently waits for a truck to take it to port, then VPC. I now expect August delivery is...
I’m not sure what’s going on with my delivery date.
Last week, salesman said truck was arriving at VPC on 6/13. Over the weekend I noticed the dealer listing updated with an availability date of 6/23. Wednesday the availability date changed to 6/19. I reached out to my salesman, now he’s...
Sucks under any circumstance, but especially on a long road trip/vacation. Hopefully Toyota takes care of you and you can enjoy your vacation.
If this is a QC issue, would be nice to know which plant assembled-
3TY or 3TM VIN
Not yet. I’ll mention it to service advisor on a future trip. Unless it’s a major issue, I try to address the little issues at the same time as the free Toyota maintenance visits.
I’m not saying the sound is normal, but I believe it’s very common with these trucks.
Salesman said the truck would deliver to the VPC on 6/13. Not sure how long it will be held there. Once it leaves Houston, I believe it would only be a week or so to dealership. This based on previous experience with this dealer.
Not sure about Canada, but I’ve been told by a couple dealers, that allocation requests lock on Tuesdays and dealer allocation notifications come out on Fridays every 2 weeks.
I received my allocation call Saturday morning for TRD Pro Terra. It was already built (May 13th) and in route to...
If I could spec the Tacoma, I’d take the 6’ bed and make it 5’6”, and use the other 6” for the backseat leg room. I just can’t see Toyota doing this as long as the Tundra exists.
I agree with this. One thing I’d point out is the current Tundra incentives do not apply to the TRD Pro trim.
Someone else had mentioned the Tacoma upper trims are selling. That’s what I’m seeing too. The demand for the Premium packaged trucks remains strong.
So far the Tacoma has not...
I’ve got more poke than I wanted with +12 RRW wheels and MT Baja AT 285/70/17 tires, but no rock chips after 3,000 miles. I’m not running gravel roads every day, but my gravel drive is about 400 yds.
The tires aren’t picking up the rocks like previous tires I’ve owned. The lug spacing has a...
I totally understand your attention to detail. These little things annoy the heck out of me. Maybe it’s not an issue, but I know when it’s not correct, and want it to be right.
My door handle looks well fitted to me, but filthy now that I see a picture of it.
