  1. Fit and Finish ?

I’ve had 2 very minor issues with mine, which i corrected myself. Outside of that, I feel like the fit and finish is excellent. Everything lines up inside and out. Feels like a quality build. This is a sample of one, but I’m very impressed. Maybe quality is different from the two factories in...
  2. Belt chirp when a/c turns on

Mine has two chirps on cold start, then is quiet.
  3. Mickey T Baja Boss AT 285/70/17 SL tires on RRW Monoforged 17x8 +12 wheels -- 4th Gen Tacoma TRD ORP

Based on same trip, my MPG dropped a little less than 2 MPG. I averaged 22.5 MPG, not adjusted for larger tire size. Very happy with these tires. They are great in the rain, low noise level, and don’t pick up rocks.
  4. Mild Rattle or Ticking Sound Drivers Side Interior.

This is the precise location. Hope this helps.
  5. Mild Rattle or Ticking Sound Drivers Side Interior.

I know exactly what you mean. I sold a 2023 Tundra TRD Pro because of all the annoying squeaks and rattles. I’m absolutely thrilled with my Tacoma. I had this one tick and a little wind noise from the rear door. Was able to solve both, and the cabin is super quiet now.
  6. Mild Rattle or Ticking Sound Drivers Side Interior.

Yes, that area. Pushed the sticky rubber foam just under the edge. My son is using the truck right now, but when he returns I’ll take a picture of exact location and post.
  7. Mild Rattle or Ticking Sound Drivers Side Interior.

It’s the rear door panel, about 12-16” up from floor, right at the edge that touches the pillar when closed, edge of speaker. You can push on it and feel the give, and hear the tick. I placed a small piece of double sided sticky rubber in that spot…silent now. I did this to both rear doors...
  8. HVAC whistling sound

Same with mine. Also same as my previous truck, 2023 Tundra
  9. Auto Trailer Detection issue -- my truck still says the trailer is detected after disconnecting the trailer

Finally….This is what worked for me… •Disconnected negative battery connection for 5-10 minutes. Reconnected. •trailer was already attached to ball, plugged in lights, moved trailer about 50 yards, parked and disconnected. •truck still indicated trailer was connected, moved truck and...
  10. Auto Trailer Detection issue -- my truck still says the trailer is detected after disconnecting the trailer

I’m having the same issue. Hooked up to trailer last evening, moved it about 50 yds, unhooked. This morning I had the trailer detected notification, with safety features turned off. The trailer icon shows on instrument cluster. If you, or your dealer, find a solution please update. I’d...
  11. Mickey T Baja Boss AT 285/70/17 SL tires on RRW Monoforged 17x8 +12 wheels -- 4th Gen Tacoma TRD ORP

Don’t have enough miles to compare yet. I do have a route that I drive every couple weeks that I’ll use for comparison. It’s through the hills of North Arkansas, 230 miles round trip. My last trip I averaged 25.8 mpg on stock setup
  12. Mickey T Baja Boss AT 285/70/17 SL tires on RRW Monoforged 17x8 +12 wheels -- 4th Gen Tacoma TRD ORP

I’d considered the AT4 and BFG KO3. It was difficult decision, I think both would be great tires, but couldn’t get past the weight. Even though I’m only 2 lbs over the stock weight, I still feel the rolling resistance of the bigger tires. Mostly from a dead stop. Not an issue but it’s there.
  13. Mickey T Baja Boss AT 285/70/17 SL tires on RRW Monoforged 17x8 +12 wheels -- 4th Gen Tacoma TRD ORP

Nice! Do you have a few miles on yours? Have you been happy with them?
  14. UNDERGROUND 2024 Tacoma Thread (4th Gen)

When searching for tire wheel combos, poke and weight were priority. I’ll admit this setup has a little more poke than I’d prefer, but I’m happy with it. I believe the 8” wheel width and the tire tread width helped to minimize. Now the details. The OEM TRD OR wheels with BFG Trail Terrain...
