If they got this thing into the high 20s that would be an amazing win! I wouldnāt expect it to beat the RX500H at 27/28/27, but if it came close to that for a pickup would be pretty amazing! Ok obviously the Maverick hybrid in a FWD form does a lot better. But high 20s here I think would be...
Thanks for the explanation! Iām used to the āAmericanā ordering process having done it a couple of times now. I suppose itās a holdover from the days when you had more interior color choices available than what you can get for paint colors nowadays. Toyotaās does make some sense for...
Iād agree. With the launches of one cab/bed/engine/transmission, and only standard trims in the case of the Ford (Raptor with itās unique engine aside), theyāve really only brought enough to market to keep the share they have. Toyota has put everything they have into the Taco based on this...
https://pressroom.lexus.com/coming-soon-the-all-new-2024-lexus-gx/. I also want to see what the 4 runner turns out to be. Iād thought 2025, but then they release this for a 2024 GX. Iām not sure just how closely the GX/Prado are related, Iād thought quite closely given theyāre made in the same...
Iām one of the Limited votes. Comparing Tacoma with Ranger & Canyon, but also waiting to see what the 4 Runner & GX turn out to be. If I do go Taco I know Iām going to want it all & the Limited should be about perfect for weekend runs to Home Depot.
It should be decent with the hybrid Iād think. The Tundra does 20 combined, it would have to beat that. I donāt see how it couldnāt. But just based on size/weight/aerodynamics, Iād think it couldnāt beat the RX500H with that Powertrain. So something less than 27. So say somewhere in the...
Going to a Toyota would be a huge step for me as Iāve always preferred my American brand tracks, mostly Ford, one Chevy. Because Iām fine with the crew cab short short box (I remember when a 6-1/2ā box was the short option over an 8āā¦) as Iām hauling mostly air, I could realistically make my...
Call it a mostly Yay! For me. Looks great really! But I need to sit in it as my #1 consideration is seats. #2 is tech & apparently youāre not going to fit a bigger screen in a vehicle this size so thatās covered. I really do want to compare the Limited in person though to the Ranger Lariat &...
Looks good! About as expected given the renders & predictions, which is a good thing. Means it should be a compelling entry to check out & compare come the fall!
I think itās worth waiting if you can to see what all the available options will be with so many compelling new choices. 2024 should be quite the year indeed!
Iād read somewhere that Toyota planned to have a hybrid option in all its vehicles by 2025. I think the only question here is whether the hybrid max makes it or not. Otherwise Iām sure the 2.4 turbo & 2.5 hybrid are all but guaranteed.
Iāve never experienced the current one. What Iāve heard is it seems to have a high floor low ceiling compared to the competition so you wind up in a lower to the floor legs out type of driving position. I can see that being a legitimate concern. If that is true, then yes hopefully the new one...
