  1. UNDERGROUND 2024 Tacoma Thread (4th Gen)

Great color! Thanks for sharing all the pics!
  2. Toyota employees can place 2024 Tacoma orders starting 12/16

Can I ask which dealer? That sounds like a good one to talk to. Though here I thought they couldn’t put on ADM for straight dealer markup, though I could be wrong. There’s still nothing though I don’t think that would prevent a dealer from adding accessories onto every one that comes in.
  3. Which colour u would pick for SR5 ( canada )

I really like the look of underground in pics. Quite grayscale so it doesn’t stand out yet it’s distinctive all the same.
  4. In canada , Toyota dealerships wont get dummy tacoma 2024 until feb last

This happened to a friend of mine with a Camry of all things as well. & something I’m only just starting to learn that Toyota does as I’m used to US brand manufacturers where you just order exactly what you want & you get it when it comes. It seems with Toyota it’s all allocation based on what...
  5. Which Area Are You From in the Southeast Region?

I just start from the ā€˜what’s new’ so don’t even see or pay attention to the sub forums. Oops! Yeah that’d be a good idea to check for a thread asking what area you’re from before posting something totally way off base! Thanks for the hint!
  6. [Update: QR loads 2023 page] 2024 Tacoma Pricing Revealed ($28,600 MSRP) or Marketing Error?

If that is an accurate starting price for 2024s that’s an impressive number. I just had to go look up, that would undercut the Colorado slightly ($29,200 for the 2023) and similar for the Frontier ($29.570 for the 2023), perhaps not enough to sway a decision. But it also undercuts the Ranger...
  7. 2024 Tacoma Double Cab Gas Models Trim/Packaging Details (Canada)

Wow! Thanks Philip for all that information!!
  8. 2024 Tacoma Double Cab Gas Models Trim/Packaging Details (Canada)

Wow thanks for such an awesome detailed write up!
  9. Is the 2.4L i-Force Engine a brand new engine?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Dynamic_Force_engine#T24A-FTS. I believe it’s this engine, used across a range of current Toyotas.
  10. 2024 Tacoma Ordering Guide for Canada [Updated w/ Tacoma HYBRID i-Force MAX Models & Specs - Trailhunter, TRD Pro, Off-Road Premium, Limited]

Awesome! Got a good dealer to work with in YYC? Not really familiar with the Toyota dealers here, I’d otherwise just plan to go to the one closest to my house.
  11. 2024 Tacoma Ordering Guide for Canada [Updated w/ Tacoma HYBRID i-Force MAX Models & Specs - Trailhunter, TRD Pro, Off-Road Premium, Limited]

Here they’re being marketed specifically as the last V6 Tacomas you can buy. It must’ve worked as their site currently has zero new cars on it.
  12. Now I’m On the Fence..

I hear ya. Sometimes you just need a truck, & for the first time since 2016 selling my F150, I’m considering one again. I do plan to compare the Land Cruiser as well, but having a truck is just too handy. I’ve hauled about as much as I can at my age with SUV’s & while you always think if I...
  13. TRD Sport vs Limited

Thanks for that, I hadn’t thought about subscription & phone. I’d assume it’s built Into the fob on higher trims, until proven otherwise for sure. I forget other manufacturers charge subscription fees for stuff I’m used to getting with the vehicle purchase, such as smartphone remote start...
  14. TRD Sport vs Limited

Not sure where that may have been confirmed already, I haven’t seen any details. I’d highly doubt the Limited wouldn’t come with remote start, that seems to be a pretty standard feature nowadays for high trims if not medium ones too.
  15. 2024 Land Cruiser debuts August 1! -- Sneak Peek @ Front Bumper, Tailgate + Tail Lights

Probably not a surprise it looks like the GX with the Toyota name & different front clip. Looking forward to seeing all the new TNGA-F trucks for 24!
  16. Tacoma Prime

I have to agree. I can’t in the foreseeable future, see how a full electric would work for me. They hybrid might be a nice jump ahead in efficiency, we’ll see. But a prime should just give the best of both worlds & make the transition just a bit more feasible.
  17. Toyota Stout

I’m assuming all speculation so far. It wouldn’t surprise me if they did a Stout, but I’m assuming they’ll focus on the Tacoma launch first. Is there any tie with the Hilux in the rest of the world maybe? They’ve certainly been putting effort not truck lately though. Look at the new GX
  18. Toyota Stout

I think I can probably ignore the videos if they’re as much clickbait as the rumors I’m hearing now, maybe from those who have watched the videos. Sized to compete with the Maverick but brings back the V8 gone from the Tundra? Who makes this stuff up.
  19. Impaired driver technology aka kill switch

https://www.thedrive.com/news/new-law-mandates-interlocks-on-all-new-cars-but-drunk-driving-tech-isnt-ready-yet What I can’t figure out is how they actually plan to implement it. I mean the innocent aren’t going to stand for blowing into a tube every time they want to start their car.
