Hmm.. this seems to be the midsize vs full size trade off every time I look at trucks. By the time you get to the options you want in the smaller truck cost starts to make the full size look pretty good. Iām just not sure I want to wheel around a full size in the city.
Congrats! That Ram...
Thanks for the review. Good to know that coming out of an F150 (my favorite vehicle of all Iāve owned) the cabin doesnāt feel too cramped for physical space at least. Congrats! Iām loving this color.
Youāve kinda summed up the conundrum midsize trucks have faced from time immemorial. & perhaps at least part of the reason Iāve had a couple full size. The extra metal doesnāt cost that much more, why not size up. Particularly if youāre willing to give up a few options the cost might not even...
Yeeowch. $62K. Not surprised, but this isnāt yet the limited (but must be close). Nor the hybrid. Limited hybrid must be $70K when it comes. I was hoping $65, but maybe more reasonable to think $70k.
I suspect thatās why every 2nd truck around here is an F150 & why the Ranger isnāt available in nearly as many configurations as it is elsewhere in the world. Those of us on a midsize truck forum might not think like that, but it appears the majority of truck buying folks on the lot just go for...
Here not surprisingly the dealers have plenty of excuses to call your use āsevere dutyā & put your car into the 5K (8,000kms) service club. Which of course is sooner than the carās computer calls for at 10k. Iāve always gone 5K, figuring what can it hurt for some good preventative maintenance...
Thanks for making me feel a little better at the numbers Iām guessing with too For the same models. That seems to be a competitive price for the Taco. & while the Land Cruiser could go as high as they think they can if they want it to be a more niche vehicle than the upcoming 4 runner, still...
I came up to the same cost. Though it doesnāt say the premium includes the moonroof, Iām guessing for now that it does. So at that point like you say then it really becomes an aesthetic choice as to whether you can do the chrome or not.
My choices are easy, there arenāt any at this level. No option to skip the moonroof/sunroof which I usually do. Just pick a color (I like the bronze if not underground). Still waiting to see what they hybrid prices out at up here, but if if it comes in at $65K it could be a compelling choice...
Iām certainly going to investigate that option too. Iād like to see it with the hybrid which might be a couple years out, but I donāt need to be in a rush.
I thought Iād read somewhere that itās full on digital key. Iām sure thatāll take a monthly subscription, but neat if they get the tech that up to date.
Anything not locked down is sure a target, though a thief would have to know itās there & removable. Is there anything though to say that maybe the Bluetooth speaker doesnāt work if itās not tied through the truck? Sure you can use it with your phone at your campsite, but maybe if the truck...
