Beautiful truck! I wouldn't mind some more photos in different lighting conditions (at night, in direct sunlight, etc etc) :)
I need that Bronze Oxide.
I'm sure they won't get into any real trouble, but if there's even a slight inconvenience, maybe they'll think twice about what they're doing.
We all know they won't. Scumbags will be scumbags.
Someone said the Tundra's tank might fit the Taco... but man, I can't imagine that being a simple or cheap modification. I wouldn't mind a 500 mile range!
I don't care if you have tint. I don't even care that these clowns are putting tint on a new car. It probably helps in the California summer! But I do care about people getting taken advantage of... and so:
I don't know the laws in California... but now you got me on a mission to find someone who cares and might do something about that. Here in New York, illegal tint is a BIG DEAL. Can't pass inspection with it on. One shop that passed illegal vehicles was fined $400k and had to close down shop...
Got excited this morning when I saw the email letting me know the "2024 Toyota Tacomas are finally here!" email.
Went straight to toyota.com. No hybrid pricing yet.
I guess it was the email I was hoping for in October. Oh well.
I can buy this truck from my dealer AND a new Prius for my teenager for the same price these scumbags are demanding for this truck alone.
Tint: illegal in my state
Paint and window protection: do you trust them to install this better than a dedicated shop?
Door cups and edge guards: ...
Though I agree with the statement that cars in general are overpriced these days, when you look at other large purchases (like real estate), it's evident it's bigger than just the automotive industry.
My wife's Sienna was $53 grand. The one before was $32 grand. Both AWD models. Our old house...
Not that I would REALLY want to... but I'd rather pay half the price and tell them to keep it all off the truck. I know that's not how it works, but still. I did get confirmation from my dealer yesterday that they will not be marking up my truck. But again, they could still get me with thousands...
Isn't it still a thing to drive the first 500 to 1,000 miles normally, not letting the engine lug in any gear for long, lifting the foot off the gas pedal every now and then, let the cylinder vacuum suck up a little more oil around the piston rings, change the oil and filter around five hundred...
Yeah, they'll have to make it custom-made for the Tacos (big screen and small) and account for the charging ports and also because it's at more of an angle than the Sienna's screen. I'm sure it's just a matter of time until Chinese Amazon has them.
Agreed. Not only is the grille huge, but that plastic trim looks awful. One reason we didn't consider the Hyundai Palisade when shopping for the wife's next vehicle was it had the same type of trim as the Tundra. So cheap-looking. The entire front-end just looks like a bad afterthought.
