  1. Fixed My Paint Chip Using Touch Up Direct

Looks good…. I don’t want to diminish the effort, but I’ve found that the easiest place to touch up paint and make look like nothing happened is on edges. Edges of doors, hoods, fuel doors - always come out near perfect, I’ve used OE touch up pens in those situations and have had great success...
  2. Need help (fuses and HUD)

    Buy a new dashcam - they’re cheap.
  3. Need help (fuses and HUD)

Don’t tap fuses for dash cam buy this
  4. Susceptible to damage without a crossmember

Agree… sure hope mine doesn’t rust out, I’m not too far from you in Ontario, lots of salt and sand used on the road in this area. I get the sport and off road trims… but in my mind it should just be cosmetic changes between the two. I did my research when buying, prefer the look of the sport...
  5. Susceptible to damage without a crossmember

Think you need to do some searches on YouTube. MANY videos of them coming off. Was the basis of my comment, that many people can’t be wrong. It’s VERY well documented 9 screw and off it comes.
  6. Susceptible to damage without a crossmember

Difference in price between a sport and an off road is really insignificant. One has the cross member and one doesn’t. Think the difference (if memory when I bought in Canada) was $500.00 between the two trims with the OR being more.
  7. Susceptible to damage without a crossmember

It’s interesting that Toyota feels the driver of a OR Tacoma and those of a sport Tacoma are that different
  8. Susceptible to damage without a crossmember

I thought the first thing that owners of a 4G Tacoma equipped with that air dam did was remove it as soon as they got home from the dealer. ?
  9. Explain it like I’m 5 - bump stops!

No …. All replacements would have them too - whoever makes it. This isn’t a big deal to have bump stops incorporated into the shock. EVERY McPherson strut has bump stops part of the assembly - since the dawn before time. Problem here is the two piece top - and I’m not convinced it’s two pieces...
  10. TuxMats why are you taking so long?

Following - I have much the same story. I think it was through their online support one day I contacted them, because I can’t seem to find any email correspondence in my history and I remember being told October for some reason. I’m on their mailing list, and know of other thread that his truck...
  11. New taco..

You should be calling Toyota corporate and telling them about your dealer experience. It doesn’t add up.
  12. Locking gas cap?

Those aftermarket locking gas caps #1 cause for EVAP check engine lights. Buyer beware. Dealer won’t hesitate to charge you hundreds of dollars to be told the check engine light is your aftermarket gas cap.
  13. AC dripping cold water in drivers side floor?

Okay but that is not considered a "recall". Think some are confused it's just a part recall - not a vehicle recall. A dealer would know that the part has been recalled back unless they had one of the evaporator boxes in their inventory or one that was scheduled to arrive that needed to be sent back.
  14. Muslogy Hanging Storage for console

I think @Muslogy Auto needs to reassess their products. I ordered this too as well as their ā€œstorageā€ unit that goes beside gear shifter/passenger grab handle (which in the end is just a liner that doesn’t fit correctly). I've not been enamoured with their products. I found this product ā€œmehā€ at...
  15. Shock blown through the top while driving down paved road 😔

@GRKTRD If Audi made a pickup truck, could you imagine all the problems they’d haveā“?
  16. PSA: Euro Global Techstream Plus WORKS on 2024 Tacoma 4th Gen

Fair enough ? - I’ve not ventured into Toyotas parking system calibration. The parking sensors, and cameras in some products work in tandem obviously in the front depending on the technology being used In the ASAS. my comment was more to ensure that there is thought as to what is going on if...
  17. PSA: Euro Global Techstream Plus WORKS on 2024 Tacoma 4th Gen

Concerning that people think they can calibrate ADAS systems with makeshift equipment that in the end just gets the light to go off. the truth is that special equipment is needed and it can take several hours to calibrate in very specific conditions, in special areas that many shops have had to...
  18. TripleAliners bed mats reviews / experiences?

I’ve got one in my Tacoma. It’s decent, not as rubbery or anti skid as I have in my vision, but it does the job. I think if I had to redo it, I’d find horse stall mats and cut one to fit, cheaper and more to what I’d be looking for.
