I'm not familiar with how the assembly process works or if the torque converter is part of that "sealed" portion, but the torque converter produced by Aisin is the SOLE contributing factor to the entire transmission Allahu Akbar'ing itself. The torque converter has debris in it from the casting...
Do you both ^^ have the auto park brake disabled?
Mine has activated a few times backing out of the garage, but ever since I disabled the auto-parking brake, I haven't noticed any activations with the sensors.
You're 100% correct.
You have to remove the straps from the hooks under the seat. They're very tight, and I found it easier to slide them across the hook compared to lifting them above it.
I just replaced my grille, shutter, and one fang. Nope with the way the tabs are, it would be almost impossible to get them out without removing the front.
Good news is that once you learn the process it's an easy removal and replacement. Putting it back on was super easy compared to the...
Not trying to be smart, but is this actually an issue?
I know mine has some play to it, but that's only if I'm pushing up on it. It's never rattles or anything like that. So are you guys getting a rattle or movement with yours? Or is this to just eliminate the play?
Also, iirc, the hotspots won't work if you are in area without regular cell coverage as well. So kinda pointless in certain applications (backcountry, etc).
It's basically the same mechanism that the seat covers are. It's a hook on the bottom of the seat and there's a loop of nylon on the flap that's just stretched across the hook. I had to feel for it and pull the loop of nylon loose. After that it was easy sailing.
Different strokes, but I love my EKRs. First seat was difficult getting the rear flap off, but once I figured it out took 15 mins for the 2nd one. Fit perfect on mine.
Ok, so I've answered this is same question in another thread somewhere here.
When you shift into manual mode on the auto trans, it acts as a limiter. So when you shift over and it says S3, that means you are limiting the transmission to shifting no higher than 3rd gear. Same rule applies to any...
No, you don't lose your changes. It's $10 for a month. You can make your changes and then cancel it and they stay.
You just spent at least 35k on a truck, can't spend $10 to turn off the stupid seatbelt alarm?
