That looks soooo much better than the clunky 3rd gen OEM hard covers. Trifold not my favorite because the room they take when opened but I wouldn't have been mad if mine had that one bundled.
Describe the "thin key". You should have gotten 2 fobs and 1 wafer about the size of a credit card but thicker. That latter is the "key card" you refer to not having. All 3 of these have a physical key in them, btw. The fobs have a little slide lever that releases them and the card has a...
After looking at your photo again, I believe you actually have them on backwards. The zippers on mine are toward the console. Their tag indicating which side is which is very cryptic so I've put mine on wrong in the past.
On the lower part of the cover, you should have a small bungie on one...
I assume you are aware you can adjust the angle of the headlights and have tried that? There should be a dial in the area above the aux switches left of the steering column for that.
I submitted a request to support with my concerns including that hole. They have a "perfect fit guarantee" and that's objectively not a fit so we'll see what they say.
What I'm hoping for is they come out with a revision 2 and offer to replace mine.
I looked at the Spigen because I've always liked their products for my portable devices but I wanted something to cover the instrument cluster as much as the infotainment. In my experience, that plastic Toyota uses over instrument clusters scratches super easy. Just wiping the dust off with a...
Got the Protech HD film installed and it looks good. A few slightly blurry spots that I expect to clear up as the adhesive cures but went on pretty easily. The key is lots and lots of spray on both surfaces so you can slide it around until you get it exactly where you want it. Then once you...
Ohio, $1309 annual w/$500 deductible. Safe driver and multi-policy discount with Encompass (Allstate's independent agent brand). No change from 2022 Tacoma to the 2024.
Got mine today and got them installed. Did your headrest covers seem like they had too much of a flap on the sides? Not sure what to do with all that extra material. Tuck it under the elastic or over... either way it looks less than optimal and adds bulk so the headrest won't got all the way...
The Sentry CT showed up a day early. Got it install, but no pics yet because it was getting dark when I finished. Very happy with it though. Fit well and it's clear the instructions were specifically for the 2024 Tacoma because when they have you measure alignment of the rails they take into...
The Sentry CT specifically does cause the tailgate to not latch because of the way the rear seal angles down. The tailgate hits against it rather than slipping under it and that interferes with the closing. Not a biggie for me because I've used a lot of soft covers that worked best if you pop...
Yeah. My last Tacoma was silver and I went with Sport because I didn't like how the silver looked with the fender flares plus it was leased so I wasn't going to be off-roading with it at all so the only potential gain from the OR was the ride quality which is pretty slight, but still noticeable...
I know one of the new things they did on this engine was put some valves for the engine cooling so they can control when coolant cycles through the cabin climate control that way it's not sending hot coolant through when it's not trying to heat, etc. This may be what you're hearing?
The black flares were a big selling point for me. Choice between cosmetics: scoop or black flares, I chose flares. Depends on the base color though. They look good on the Solar Octane because it's a nice contrast but on white, for instance, I think they look goofy.
To each his/her own. If we...
Fairly sure all the Toyota dealers in Columbus are MSRP because we have 4 of them so they have to compete. Mine came from Germain Toyota which is absolutely MSRP.
