I found a 'work around' from Android auto if you don't use it much. Go into your device and enable the phone. That will disable AA, and allow you to use voice recognition for phone calls.
Ok, I've tried everything. Cargo Light switch set on door and On. Cargo lights, bed lights and bed scene lights (Trailhunter) will not turn on. I haven't checked fuses yet. Any suggestions. They should come on in door mode or On with truck on and in Park, but don't.
No issues with connection so far. AA doesn't want to let me voice dial. Shoot, my 11 year old Prius could do that! I have an older Samsung S21. A little research...do I need the Google voice app?
Mine was one of them them. Every Trailhunter I've seen including one as part of a review had the bed scene lights. That particular Trailhunter did have a moonroof too! Reproduction perhaps, but it did have Texus plates.
My Trailhunter came with the bed scene lights in the rails but it was not an option on the truck. Did I just get them? Hard to believe that, but no idea how to turn them on since they are there. As said above, need a wiring harness from dealer??
I'm loving it. Power from the turbo hybrid is beyond belief. I've played with normal, eco and sport mode. Hard to tell much difference. Eco is slightly, and I mean slightly less peppy. Sport mode seems to use the turbo boost a little longer perhaps, but I'm no car/truck engine/transmission...
Outside a small rotopak, fire extinguisher or hatchet, there's not much room on the molle panels. I sold mine as I preferred a tonneau cover. You can't have both the way the bar is bolted to the bed rails.
Filled up my Trailhunter for the first time yesterday. I'd gone from the low fuel warning and the idiot light to the Refuel warning and 0 miles left. I have an 18.2 gallon tank. I put in 16 gallons so I still had 2.2 gallons left in reserve.
@Romer
Yep, this. Folding it up against the window should work. Toyota one comes with 2 pads you put on to rest against the glass.
I like the fit and finish of the oem tonneau cover.
Longo Toyota wouldn't even take my name because their waitlist was 2 years long. They are one of the largest dealers in the country and a msrp dealer.
I can only suggest you 'build' what you want via Toyota's site and begin checking inventory at dealers daily. I had my search parameters at...
I can split screen with android auto, map on one side, but where can you change settings to put the radio on the other side. Seems to only want to display any music player like YouTube Music that's reside t on your phone.
I H8 android auto! My 11 year old Prius was more intuitive when it came to hands free calling. Seems like I can't use voice commands to make a call with android auto. I really only want android auto when I wantcto use GIAA gps software on my phone offroading. Otherwise android auto stinks...
Never mind all this. AUX switched only have power with the truck on. I often have the ham off after shuting off the truck. Will just hard wire the ham radio to the battery.
I've had the kick panel off twice now and cannot figure out where to plug in the 4 pin Harness. There's one black connector near the bottom. Is there a dummy cover on it that I just can't figure out how to remove to plug in the pigtail?
Looking for power to my ham radio and figured the aux switch would be easiest. Besides, I can't get the clips off the rear seat to access the 12b battery under the seat in the Trailhunter...notcthe hybrid battery.
If I understand you, I can just use the 4pin aux pigtail at aux 1 for my power...
