Yes it would, and that might create a problem! I was thinking of the Off Road with 285/70R17's on stock wheels, and while I don't like the stock wheels, I'll probably just keep them. Happy wheelin'!
You'd think the genius engineers at Toyota would realize that some people put bike racks and tow trailers with their Tacos, but apparently they only thought that Tundra owners do so.
I believe that the PA w/AB will automatically brake the Taco when it detects an obstacle while going at slow speeds. Might also have an audible alarm, but for some reason Googling it doesn't really give much more info than this.
I prefer the 8"; it just looks to me that it fits better with the size of the interior of the Taco. And since my vision is still pretty good at 70 (I don't need glasses), I don't feel that it's worth $850 more, and that can buy quite a few other things for over landing adventures.
I decided to go with the $4700 upgrade to the OR; everything I need and nothing I don't want, and the savings of $4100-5600 will go a long way in getting it set up for over landing!
I like the "beadlock" look and the bronze color, but prefer all black wheels (and NO chrome) for OR trucks; had them on my '21 Silverado Trail Boss and '19 Sierra Elevation and currently on my '22 Bronco BD, and don't like the silver ring around the Taco's wheels. Take an aspirin and have fun...
Not sure about Canada, but the US configurator site had the bed mat, then it didn't, and now it does again, so maybe it will come back on the Canadian site.
I'm curious myself, as a "premium" stereo system that sucks is not what I'm looking for! I've seen a couple of youtube videos and the posters thought that the stereo was good, but I haven't seen anyone raving about it.
I hear you, and I'm now leaning towards an SR5 Tundra w/off road package and 6.5' bed. The bigger gas tank (32.2 gal), the roll-down rear window, and the extra room (for my 100 lb Pittie/Mastiff) are what makes it seem a better truck for me. Traded my '21 1500 TrailBoss for the 4 Dr Bronco, and...
