Stopped watching after 3 minutes, and while I feel that everyone has a right to post whatever they want, if you don't want a '24 Taco, don't buy one. If you're looking to buy a new house, and you want a 1 bedroom/1 bath, don't go looking at 3 bedrooms/2 baths and beotch that it has too much...
Great review, as most are (except from the over-caffeinated knucklehead scotty kilmer), but this was done before TFL "broke" Blueberry. I think I'll wait for the '25, and if there's a price increase, hopefully interest rates will have come down by then and the difference in price will be moot.
I assume that if you put Loctite on the mounting brackets it might dry before you got around to tightening them, but I always like to use it when installing aftermarket goodies! And would you comment on if the interior noise was reduced after the cover install? Thanks for this!
My comment was not about the TFL failure, it was about how EVERYONE who travels an "extremely long distance" to buy their vehicle, whatever that vehicle might be, drives it the same extremely long distance to get home.
I assume the first thing that serious off roaders will do is put some real OR tires on their Taco's, unless they get the TRD Pro or TH, and even then I'm sure they'll be lots of new rubber. It was pretty game of TFL to attempt what they did, which is why I'll always watch their videos!
I see a whole lot more '24 Tacos being put on QC hold coming up soon! And the stock tires on the OR failed miserably against the Falken Wildpeak and Nitto Grabbers in Tire Racks test, and they consider it a highway oriented, LIGHT OR tire!
Not exactly sure what "So to make it clear today they did cut me a check for like 2 grand today in stuff." means, but maybe you got a $2,000 check and $2,000 worth of stuff, since your original post said they ripped you off for $4,000, maybe? And this certainly didn't "make it clear"!:ROFLMAO:
Good price on the bed mat (it's listed at $200 on the accessories page on the configurator and that's the only accessory I put on my build), and yes, waiting for the aftermarket steps is a wise move; I can keep a 2 step folding "ladder" behind the front seat before I'd spend $455 on a step!
Only 2 things in your list that I wish they did was a larger fuel tank and bumper step (you can get a drop down step for $455, but how hard would it be for Toyota to put a step on either side of the bumper).
I'm pretty shocked at what you went through, and I've been purchasing new vehicles for almost 50 years! To not even give you a window sticker proves they were trying to deceive you, and I'm now thinking to take my business to a local ABQ NM dealer. It's 165 miles yo ABQ for me, so making the...
You'd think that for what they priced the '24 Taco at you'd get a full size spare, like my '22 Bronco, but maybe it's because of a limit on the space underneath, just like the space for the fuel tank.
I would never consider 3 weeks and 1200 miles a "long term" for anything, except maybe an avocado or banana. That being said, maybe they think the '24 Taco will only last a year or 2 and 30,000 miles (and VERY few, if any, people will still have a '24 Taco 50 years from now, so why complain that...
I saw on their website the $6000 Rugged Trail Series lift/wheel/tire package on a couple of OR's, and a couple of other Taco's with $2000 dealer added "Protection" packages, but no $4000 add ons. Why did you pay for $4000 of add ons that weren't added on? Keep us posted as Fox seemed like an...
I'm divorced and single, and I plan on a rear seat delete so my 100 lb Pitte/Mastiff has some room, and my Bronco doesn't have rear vents and he's been fine even when it's in the upper 90's and mid 20's here, and I miss the versatility of a truck, and like you said, the tech is much better in...
