OK, NOW I know why the engine sounded like that at the end of the video; the audio was taken INSIDE THE ENGINE BAY! When I'm driving, I'm not sitting inside the engine bay, so maybe he should have mentioned that in the video!
That's not how my '22 Bronco with the 2.3L MT sounds, at all, and I can't even tell (unless I check the turbo boost gauge) when my turbo kicks in. The Bronco is direct injection only, so maybe the Taco having direct and port injection make a difference? That being said, I'm 70 with some hearing...
Thanks for your reply and the link to another video, and it still sounds weird to me (I've got a 2022 Bronco BD w/2.3 MT), and I've never heard that sound before! Does the Taco having both direct and port injection vs the Bronco only having direct make the difference? Obviously, the Bronco is my...
i really don't like the ring on the OR wheels, and the BFG stock tires are not very highly rated by Tire Rack (against Falken Wildpeaks and Nitto Grapplers) but I don't like them that much that I'd pay $5,000 to change them!
Exactly! I have never understood how dual zone makes much difference, since the cabins are small spaces and air moves, although when it's a couple I can understand the difference having the vents pointed right at either person, but still. Has anyone ever had a thermometer in the front and rear...
Just looked at an OR at Newburgh Toyota, and the heated seats are added at $585.00, so if they all come with it, you're paying extra for it, which is what I've been saying all along.
Not sure what configurator you're looking at, but I just looked and you can order heated seats on the OR for $585, and heated and ventilated seats are included in all the Premium packages for the OR. If you're saying that heated seats come standard on the OR, I don't think they do, but they are...
I'm not sure that's correct, because in the "Accessories" section when building an Off Road, it's $89 for the black emblem overlays and $99 for the tailgate black inserts. I've seen on some window stickers $389 (or maybe it was $399) for the blackout package, but I think that's a dealer...
On the configurator page for the Off Road, the blackout emblems are $89 and the blackout tailgate letters are $99, but I've seen a "Blackout Package" on window stickers for $389, so unless the dealer is making $200, or that's what they're charging for the Toyota symbol (if it's not included as...
Wanted to wait a bit to see how the people who get their Taco are reviewing it, although I have no doubt that the vast majority will appreciate the improvements, and also to see if their are any problems with the initial trucks. Also seems that most of the OR's being delivered now aren't even...
I couldn't agree with you more, and adding thousands to the price of an already expensive(ish) truck, so that the dealers can make more profit on things that we don't want, is just not cool. I don't want steps, or dash cams, or $130.00 exhaust tips; I just want an Off Road, Ice Cap, 6' bed, with...
Seems like all of them are coming with the Predator steps, but the PPF is probably worth it!
Thanks for posting this, and it seems that all the Taco's coming out now have the Predator steps. You got yourself a great truck, so enjoy the heck out of it!
The black out costs about $200, so what's the other $4000? For that much you could have gotten the upgrade w/options! That being said, you now have a 2024 Taco that you really wanted, so congrats!
Pretty impressive, and those are not the best tires and are considered "On-Road All Terrain Tires", and they took a distant third to Falken WildPeak A/T Trail and Nitto Nomad Grappler tires in Tire Rack's test.
